No. Our QR codes are static — the data is encoded in the QR pattern itself, not redirected through a server. They work indefinitely with no subscription. Unlike dynamic QR code services (like Bitly or QR Code Generator Pro) that expire when you cancel, ours last forever.

Static QR code: data is encoded directly in the pattern. Can never be edited once printed, but works forever for free.

Dynamic QR code: encodes a short URL redirect; the destination can be edited after printing, and you can track scan analytics. Requires a paid subscription and QR codes stop working if you cancel. Our generator creates static QR codes.

No — static QR codes cannot be changed after generation. If you need to update the destination (e.g. a new URL), simply generate a new QR code with the updated content and replace the image wherever it's used.

Three PNG sizes: 200×200 px (email footers, website thumbnails), 500×500 px (business cards, flyers, A4 posters), and 1000×1000 px (banners, signage, packaging). All are watermark-free and free to download.

Use the 500px download for business cards and A4 flyers. Use the 1000px download for banners, signage, or packaging. As a rule of thumb, the minimum printable size is 2×2 cm (≈0.8 in). Always maintain a quiet zone (white border) of at least 4 module widths around the code to ensure reliable scanning.

Currently PNG downloads are supported (up to 1000×1000 px). SVG export is on our roadmap. For large-format print from the 1000px PNG, the file will be sharp when scaled up in design software like Illustrator or Canva.

Yes. Use the foreground and background colour pickers to choose any colour. You can also enter a hex code directly. For scannability, keep the foreground darker than the background with a contrast ratio of at least 4:1 — avoid inverting to light-on-dark.

Three styles: Classic (standard square modules), Rounded (modules with rounded corners for a softer look), and Dots (circular modules for a modern aesthetic). All styles are fully scannable.

Currently you can add a text label to the centre (e.g. "Scan Me" or your brand name). Logo image overlay is on our feature roadmap. In the meantime, you can add a logo in Canva or Photoshop after downloading the PNG.

Yes. In the Customise section enter text in the "Centre Label" field — it appears below the QR pattern in the downloaded PNG. Use short labels like "Scan to Pay", "Connect to WiFi", or "Visit Our Site".

Click the WiFi tab on the generator. Enter your network name (SSID), choose the security protocol (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or None), and enter the password. The QR code is generated instantly. When scanned by an Android or iOS camera app, the phone connects automatically — no password typing needed.

No. The password is encoded into the QR pattern in your browser and never sent to any server. However, note that anyone who scans the QR code will be able to decode the password, so treat the QR image itself as sensitive.

Click the UPI Payment tab, enter your UPI ID (e.g. name@okicici or 9876543210@ybl), your name, and an optional fixed amount. The generated QR code follows the BHIM UPI standard and can be scanned by GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, Amazon Pay, and any UPI-enabled banking app.

Yes, the Amount field is optional. If you enter an amount, it will be pre-filled in the payment app when someone scans the code. If left blank, the payer can enter any amount — useful for general-purpose payment QR codes at shops or events.
